Case: Birt‑Hogg‑Dubé Mild

HIDE
PrevNext

0:01

Diffuse cystic lung disease.

0:02

Pretty obvious that we have a case of

0:05

that there's probably at least a

0:07

hundred cysts within the lungs.

0:09

And if we scroll through, it looks like there is more

0:14

cysts at the lung bases than in the upper aspect of lungs.

0:17

But what's the most characteristic finding here?

0:22

We see all of these para mediastinal cysts.

0:25

That's where the cysts for some reason are

0:27

gravitating towards.

0:28

And so this makes us think of bird ho debase syndrome.

0:31

And indeed, based on clinical workup,

0:33

this patient had history of bird ho Debase syndrome,

0:37

and it's quite helpful that those para mediastinal cysts,

0:39

especially when they're so cluster like this,

0:42

it really draws you away from LIP

0:44

and certainly away from lymph a**l mitosis.

0:47

So bird hug.
