HIDE
PrevNext

0:00

Another example here of somebody who had an ankle injury,

0:04

and on our three projections, what we can identify is that

0:09

oblique mortis is maintained.

0:11

Frontal has our normal relationships of the lateral

0:15

and medial clear space on the lateral.

0:17

As we go through our checklist of distal tibia, talus,

0:22

calcaneus angle of Joss saying is maintained

0:25

as well as the subtalar joint.

0:27

We then look toward the show par joint

0:29

and we see an abnormality over a portion of the calcaneus.

0:33

So when we magnify up, we can identify a discontinuity

0:37

through this portion of the calcaneus,

0:39

which is the anterior process of the calcaneus.

0:42

So this person has an anterior process fracture.
