PrevNext

0:00

This is a different patient here

0:02

and this patient who also has some lateral ankle pain.

0:06

After injury, we can identify on the frontal

0:10

and lateral projections here.

0:12

Lateral projection shows normal relationship of the tib

0:16

and tails sub Taylor joint on the frontal projection.

0:20

Now we have soft tissue swelling laterally,

0:24

and there's this small opacity which is

0:27

lower than the tailless.

0:29

It's at the level of the calcaneus

0:32

having a frontal radiograph of the foot.

0:35

We can now see that there is a little flick of bone

0:38

that's coming off of the lateral portion of the calcaneus,

0:42

and this is a small evulsion fracture at the attachment side

0:45

of the extensor digitorum brevis.
