0:00

Hey everyone, it's Mark and we're ready

0:03

to start the next block. We're going to build upon the

0:06

cardiac radiograph block that just did

0:09

we're going to move to another important section of

0:12

the cardiovascular circuit the pulmonary arteries.

0:16

So like systemic hypertension pulmonary hypertension

0:19

is silent and often overlooked both

0:22

with imaging and clinically.

0:25

So it's closely related to cardiac problems as

0:28

well as other intrinsic pulmonary artery problems and

0:31

Pulmonary pulmonary diseases.

0:34

So I'm going to discuss a bit about

0:37

the definition classification and clinical presentations of pulmonary

0:40

hypertension along with some treatment options. We'll go

0:43

over the radiographic and then the CT Imaging

0:46

findings along with possible etiologies. I'm

0:49

also going to do a special session on contrast Dynamics

0:52

and how you can use this information to

0:55

find out more about the

0:58

patients underlying cardiopulmonary physiologic status.

1:02

I'll also do a special separate session on chronic

1:05

thromboembolic disease, which will serve as

1:08

a preview for the next block of pulmonary embolus.

1:11

We'll finish with the fun formative assessment. And

1:14

please remember this is not an all-inclusive review

1:17

of the topic, but hopefully it's a

1:20

practical set of instruction and sessions

1:23

that you can apply in a daily basis that your Workstation.

1:27

I hope you find these sessions helpful.
