Abusive head trauma (AHT), including Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS), is a serious and preventable form of child abuse that can lead to lifelong consequences. This course helps healthcare professionals and educators recognize the signs, understand the mechanisms, and apply prevention strategies for AHT in infants and young children. ​Activity approved by Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure for pediatricians, radiologists, family practitioners, and emergency medicine and urgent care physicians needing to complete 1 hour of training on this subject.​​​
