Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma CME Posttest

Abusive head trauma (AHT), including Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS), is a serious and preventable form of child abuse that can lead to lifelong consequences. This course helps healthcare professionals and educators recognize the signs, understand the mechanisms, and apply prevention strategies for AHT in infants and young children. Through expert-led insights and real-world context, you’ll gain practical tools to identify, intervene, and help protect vulnerable populations—while fulfilling your continuing education requirements. 

​​​​Activity approved by Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) for nurses licensed or obtaining licensure under KRS Chapter 314 who need (1.5) contact hours covering recognition & prevention of pediatric abusive head trauma.
