Florida Osteopathic Medical Ethics: Ethical Decision-Making, Professional Conduct, and Regulatory Awareness CME Posttest

This Florida Laws and Rules and Professional Ethics course provides Florida-licensed osteopathic physicians with practical, applied education on ethical decision-making, professional conduct, and regulatory expectations in modern clinical practice. Drawing on Florida statutes, Board of Osteopathic Medicine standards, and real-world Florida case scenarios, the course examines core principles of medical ethics and their application to patient autonomy, informed consent, decision-making capacity, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical documentation. Learners will explore common ethical risks arising from electronic health records, telemedicine, digital communication, and evolving practice environments, with an emphasis on defensible clinical reasoning and professional accountability.
